Art at Austin
We believe that part of leisure is to enjoy the finer things in life. We have therefore commissioned two world renowned artists Milenko Prvacki and Delia Prvacki to bring art to Austin Hills. Their original art pieces are displayed in all our suites as well as Sun Cafe and Star Restaurant. No two pieces of ceramic artwork in any of our suites are the same. Each is uniquely put together by Delia Prvacki. The ceramic murals entitled 'Paradise' and 'Underwater Life' that are displayed at both ends of the Sun Cafe directly above the Super Shop and the Star Restaurant are believed to be the largest hand built ceramic compositions in the world. We invite you to enjoy the finer things in life, enjoy art at Austin Hills... we bring leisure to new heights. |

The paintings from the "Four Seasons" cycle represent a strong colour metaphor of the development and continuous changes in nature. Green suggests the birth of Spring; red is the hot Summer; yellow represents the golden Autumn and blue is associated to the cold Winter. The artist's intention was to bring into the monumental architectural space of the Austin Hills Golf Resort the harmony and equilibrium of the surrounding environment. Several motifs and images (in white and black accents) are repeated throughout the paintings, showing perpetual movement and stability all at once in the natural world. The grandiose size of the paintings aims at emphasizing the splendour of life itself.
The four ceramics mural covering the Austin Hills Golf Resort walls were designed, executed and installed under the supervision of DELIARTS Pte Ltd Singapore. By their dimensions and techniques used, these murals represent one of the world's largest hand-built wall ceramic compositions ever realised.
The four murals together form a theme, the celebration of Life and Nature; yet each one has a particular character and unique visual interpretation. They were especially conceived to complete and respond to the interior design, as well to the content and function of the location. They will clearly represent a reference point in the development of decorative arts in the region and an excellent example of the integration of art in architecture.

The mural represents the quiet but infinitely rich life in the water's depths. It was created as underwater landscape, in which shapes and colors are discretely woven into a fascinating, mysterious world. The large composition, seemingly calm and balanced at first view, becomes more interesting and attractive when viewed attentively. Much like the experience of diving, the eye uncovers an abundance of surprising forms and unexpected details.

This free-form composition brings out, from the solitude and calm surface of the water, the notion of powerful energy carried by the waves. It is an invitation to meditate, and a reflection about contrast, equilibrium and complementarily of nature's elements. The aesthetics were inspired by the manner in which water and waves are presented in old Chinese-particularly porcelain and miniature work.
